Otto Wahle (born November 5, 1879, in Vienna – August 11, 1963, in New York City, United States) was a Jewish Austrian swimmer who competed in the late 19th century and early 20th century.[1]

Swimming career

He participated in Swimming at the 1900 Summer Olympics in Paris, and won two silver medals in the 200 metre obstacle and the 1,000 m freestyle.[2][3]

In 1901 he moved to New York City, and at the 1904 Summer Olympics he won a bronze medal.[4][5]

At the 1912 Summer Olympics he was a coach of the American swimming team. At the 1920 and 1924 Summer Olympics he was the coach of the American water polo team.
